Traffic Control (Stop / Slow Bat)  NSW Photo Blue Card and Grey Card (WSC41)

Refund Policy

A full refund of payments made will be given for any cancellations made up two days before the date of the booked course i.e. prior to 4 pm on the Monday before the course.

An administration fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations made within 2 days of the booked course, i.e. a refund of $125 will be given for cancellations.

For cancellations on the day of the training course or for non-attendance for the booked course, no refund will be given, except in exceptional circumstances.

 

New applicants for NSW traffic control qualifications are required to hold, or have held, a drivers licence (min NSW green "p" or interstate/international equivalent). 

Applicants need to show the licenced trainer a current, expired, or cancelled licence as evidence. (Transcripts are also accepted)

 

Applicants who have held a NSW traffic control Stop Slow card can attend the course without the need to show a drivers licence, but will need to bring the card with them on the day. (The card must not have expired by more than 2 years)

Applicants who require the Blue Card will also need a current WorkCover Construction Induction Card (Green/White Card)

Applicants who require the Grey Card and are not conducting traffic control in the construction industry do not need the Green / White Card.

Traffic Control - Apply Traffic Control Plans - NSW Yellow Card (WSC43)

 

Start 8:30am  (All day course) Course Code WSC43

Cost $210 per person (exempt of gst)

This card is required by people who are setting up a Traffic Control worksite from a TCP.

(ie laying out cones, barricades, hats, bollards and traffic management devices)

 

The RTA Photo Yellow Card qualification is suitable for:

-          Current holders of the Blue Card who also need to setup traffic control devices

-          People who are not controlling traffic with a stop/slow bat, but who are setting out signs, cones & barriers.

Holders of a NSW RTA Traffic control Blue Card would normally also have the Yellow card so that they can do both traffic control and site layout.

 

Applicants must hold a current WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Card (Green / White Card) issued after April 2004.

 

Note: This card is valid for 3 years from the date of training

Select/Modify Traffic Control Plans (NSW Photo Red Card)

Start 8:45am  (2-day course)

Cost $350 per person (exempt of gst)

This course provides training for people who are required to select and make minor modifications to existing Traffic Control Plans (TCP) to suit work locations.

 

Note: This course does not qualify participants to control traffic with a stop/ slow bat (this requires the NSW Photo Blue Card) or Apply Traffic Control Plan’s (this requires the NSW Photo Yellow Card) or design a non standard TCP (this requires the RTA Photo Orange Card)

 

The Photo Red Card qualification is suitable for:

  • Current holders of the Blue Card (12 months or more) who also need to select/modify  traffic control plans

  • Current holders of the Yellow Card (12 months or more) who need to select/modify suitable site TCP’s.

Occupational First Aid

The occupational first aid qualification involves the completion of two units of competency needs to be undertaken.  These are HLTFA402B Advanced First Aid and  HLTFA403A Manage First Aid in the Workplace.

Advanced First Aid is a 2-day course and Manage First Aid in the Workplace is a 1-day course which is offered the week after the Advanced First Aid training

Cost for occupational first aid qualification [Apply advanced first aid + Manage first aid in the workplace] is $430 per person.

HLTFA402B Advanced First Aid

The course duration is 16 hours

A prerequisite for this training is is that participants hold a current Senior First Aid of Apply First Aid Certificate.
