The Workplace Safety Centre sells the following Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) These
units are designed
& manufactured in Australia to comply with the Australian Standard AS/NS-3760
(in Service Safety Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment). NOTE: A Course in Safety Testing Competency is also required to be undertaken in order to use a PAT.

CZ5500 Patrol ACE Earth Leakage Current Measurement
The Aegis Patrol ACE offers a quick, simple and easy Leakage Current Measurement test. Electrical appliances which cannot be tested by the DC method (250 or 500V Insulation Resistance Test) can be checked with the Patrol Ace to ensure the requirements of AS/NZS3760-2003 are met for electrical safety. Price: $440 inc gst This product is the ideal companion for the Patrol CZ5000.
